Independent Norwegian EV data, analysis and tools.

Elbil RADAR is an independent Norwegian project built to make electric vehicles easier to understand, compare and evaluate. We are not a car manufacturer, a dealership or a campaign organization. Our role is to turn complex EV data into clear, practical information for drivers, buyers and anyone who wants to understand the electric car market beyond brochures and press releases.

Why Norway

Our work is rooted in Norway — one of the world’s most mature electric vehicle markets. After many years of high EV adoption, broad charging infrastructure and active used-car trading, Norway has become a rare real-world reference point for how electric mobility works at scale. That makes Norwegian data especially valuable for understanding electric cars not only as new products, but as vehicles people buy, use, sell and compare over time.

Built on more than one million electric vehicles

A central part of Elbil RADAR is our structured dataset covering more than one million electric vehicles registered in Norway. This includes registration data, model and version information, technical details where available, used-market activity, resale signals and other analytical sources. Our VIN decoder, model pages and market tools are built on this data foundation rather than guesswork.

By connecting official vehicle data with market information and practical analysis, we aim to answer questions that a standard specification sheet cannot always answer: which version a car really is, how models differ, how the used market develops, and what the numbers mean in real-world comparison.

Our goal is simple: to make EV data more transparent, more useful and easier to trust.
